Marcy Cunniff

Marcy has been teaching tennis at the BAC for 20 years, as well as being certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association since 1988. Her professional experience includes having held the position of Head Pro and Director of Tennis at the BAC, Director of Tennis/Head Pro at Hay Harbour Club, Fishers

Island-NY, Director of Tennis/Head Pro of Eastern Yacht Club, Marblehead-Ma, and a Tennis Professional at the Harry Hopman Tennis Academy, Saddlebrook-Fl, Racquet Club of St. Petersburg-Fl, and Longwood Cricket Club,Brookline-Ma.

Marcy was the practice partner of Anne Smith (10 time Grand Slam Winner) at Wimbledon 2003 and 2004. Among her accomplishments, she was speaker and presenter of “Grand Slam Doubles” at the USPTA World conferences in La Quinta-Ca(2004) and Hollywood,-Fl(2003). She also assisted Dr. Anne Smith at the USPTA’s Tri-Division Convention at the USTA National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows-NY and has a audio CD in collaboration with Dr. Anne Smith available through the USPTA on “Grand Slam Doubles”:Winning Strategies and Drills for Club Teams.

She played on the Satellite Pro Circuit after competing for four years on a full-tennis scholarship at University of South Florida, where she earned her degree in Business Management. Her collegiate team finished in the top twenty Div 1 and she was ranked top in New England as junior, as well as reaching a #6 and #9 ranking nationally in girls 18 doubles in United States.
