Brandon Drinan

brandon-bio-pic-editBrandon recently graduated from UMass-Amherst in the Spring of 2016 with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology and Brain Sciences. During Brandon’s college career, he was able to observe the full spectrum of health and fitness: He worked in an outpatient physical therapy facility where he learned how to treat many different musculoskeletal injuries. He also interned with the UMass-Amherst Sports Medicine Department where he worked with Division I athletes in the rehabilitation and implementation of corrective exercise programs. And most recently he interned as a strength and conditioning coach at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning in Woburn, MA, helping high school and college athletes reach their goals of becoming better athletes.

In high school Brandon played football and competed in track, in which he was the captain for the events team. In his free time, he enjoys staying active by hiking and spending time outdoors, as well as training for his first powerlifting competition. He believes that health and fitness should be a lifestyle, and that his job as a personal trainer is to educate and train his clients to strive for and attain their highest goals using a functional training approach.
