Alexis Gates

Alexis is a South Boston native, and is both a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a NATA Certified Athletic Trainer. She has a strong background in sports medicine after having achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training and a Master’s Degree in Applied Anatomy and Physiology, both from Boston University. Throughout her career she has worked with many Division I, II and III collegiate athletes and several high school athletes, helping them to return to play after an injury or illness and continuing to progress them thereafter to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Alexis was honored to captain her high school soccer, basketball and softball teams, and also completed the Boston Marathon in 2008 along with the Boston Half Marathon in 2007 and 2008. She has always believed that a positive attitude and strong mind are more important that any physical ability when it comes to achieving your goals. She loves designing workout plans for all ranges of individuals and tries to ensure that what she teaches during training sessions and fitness consultations leads to positive changes toward a lifetime of healthy living.
